Meet The Team
Derren brings an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience that he has developed from previous leadership roles. His goal is to transform Verplas into the employer and supplier of choice, whilst guiding us as a team forward, together.
Sales & Customer Support
Sarah joined the business in October 2019 and manages the Sales, Customer Service and Marketing areas of the business. She has 19 years’ experience in Sales and Business Development, across a range of businesses.
Martin joined us 2007 and has held various roles in the customer support team, gaining good knowledge of the business, products, industry, and our customers. Martin is passionate about building long-lasting relationship with our customers.
Hailey joined us in March 2023 and has a strong background in customer support.
She is passionate about delivering a great customer experience and building relationships with customers; which is crucial to the success of your customer journey.
Roxy joined us at the beginning of 2020. Roxy’s professional career has been dedicated to customer support roles, a role in which she is perfect for because of her warm and friendly personality and her love for helping people.
I joined Verplas in July 2022, have always worked in a Customer Service environment, I love the Customer Experience Co-ordinator Role here and hope that the journey you experience here at Verplas exceeds your expectations.
Drew joined us in 2023 as our Customer Experience Co-ordinator. Drew has gained previous experience in customer support roles before finding his way to Verplas. He has a great energy and he looks forward to building relationships with our customers.
Ben focuses on achieving business goals through the development of people, along with identifying profitable growth opportunities whist ensuing very careful risk management. He has a wealth of over 25 years of experience within manufacturing and media as a Finance Director/Controller.
Neil joined us in 2023 as our Assistant Management Accountant where he provides concise information to the management team through accounting reports, analysis, ensuring the company operates in a way to create maximum EBITA, coupled with effective use OWC.
Part of Cherii’s role includes, sole responsibility of the company’s Payroll, ensuring all employees are paid on time – every time whilst making sure the company is fully compliant. Cherii also predominantly works within the Accounts department completing Purchase Ledger Payments and day to day tasks to help keep the company running smoothly.
Part of Caroline’s role is to set up new starters, keep everyone’s HR files and records up to date and process any relevant letters and paperwork. She also assists with the Accounts side of the business which is a mixed role and she is also the Purchase Ledger Controller.
Nicoleta oversees the procuring materials of our company, establishing relationships with suppliers and ensuring that all purchasing procedures are being followed. She is also part of the Accounts team where she helps with customer queries, CCN’s and much more.
Transport & Goods In
Before Verplas, Liam started off as an Apprentice and worked his way up to obtaining his International Road Transport CPC, where he earned 8 valuable years of experience. Liam’s role as Transport Manager involves overseeing the day to day running of the department, ensuring customer orders are delivered On Time and In Full
Nick’s role within the business is to greet drivers upon arrival, he also unloads and books in stock. An additional part of his role is to provide all departments with the necessary materials and goods needed across site.
Dan’s role here at Verplas is to manage all of the Direct, Indirect and Services spend. The daily focus is on standardisation, simplifying processes and ensuring the right suppliers are in place to serve the business.
Nicoleta oversees the purchasing materials of our company, establishing relationships with suppliers and ensuring that all purchasing procedures are being followed. She also evaluates our suppliers ensuing that approved purchases are cost-efficient and high quality.
Some of Martin’s duties include; keeping up to date with current regulations, developing new and innovative products. Seeing them from birth all the way through the entire process to your front door.
Simon’s role involves reviewing all aspects of the business, helping us adapt and change things to help us achieve our goals and improve practices where possible. He established himself in his career early, with valuable experience across engineering, manufacturing and business management.
With great experience in management and running a smooth and efficient operation. Within his day-to-day Brad is responsible for all production departments, he manages and plans production making sure quality standards are met.
Mark is our Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Manager, SHEQ Manager for short. He joined Verplas in 2022. Mark brings many years of health and safety experience from within different industries and his work as a consultant.
Jacob has previous experience working 8 years in IT. Part of Jacob’s role is to gather information from the team and develop, implement and build IT infrastructure helping improve the company and supporting it evolution, along with ensuring everyone’s computers are fully functioning.
As Jen has grown with the company she has gained valuable experience across different areas of the business. As Creative Improvement Manager she supports the team using her creative abilities to help make improvements where possible.
With 17 years of knowledge of Verplas, in Paul’s role he is responsible for ensuring that production levels are met by the up keep of machinery and provides quick responsive repairs and day to day maintenance within the site by his dedicated team.
