Firewrap is available in sizes to fit all rectangular and round ducting.
Manufactured from intumescent material which expands when ignited to crush the ducting and close the hole.
Within the plastic outer sleeve a firefly 101
intumescent felt is inserted to provide the fire seal in fire
conditions
The Firewrap must be mounted within a brick/
blockwork wall in order that the fire wrap has pressure force
against the solid structure to crush the plastic flat duct and
therefore seal the compartment
Metal sleeves are available to allow Firewrap to be installed in stud and plasterboard walls.
